Media Training Sessions

Getting recognised in the media can bring a whole new dimension to your business so why not add this expertise to your repertoire and book a one to one online media training session? I help companies with their media profile, writing targeted press releases and helping them navigate media markets for maximum exposure.

As a forward-thinking business, you should always celebrate your achievements, news and ideas so any time there is something to talk about, you need to be recognised for it and one of the best ways to do this is to engage with the media.

Whether you’re a start-up who wants media coverage to help set the right tone for your business, a company with a few years under your belt, or an established organisation that needs a change in direction to keep current, incorporating media strategy into your business goals is important. Media coverage can also help you engage with your customers, and helps you control your story.

One to One Online Media Training Sessions
I offer businesses an hour’s online training session so they can learn how to write press releases and navigate their relevant media markets for maximum exposure.

With the explosion of social media, you may think that press releases have had their day and they no longer have a place in your marketing plan. However, if you know how to write perfect press releases for your business you will be guaranteed coverage in newspapers, on the radio, in magazines, and in other media markets that your customers tap into. And, unlike advertising, garnering media coverage is free. You just need to know how to do it.

My hour’s online training session over Zoom costs £50 and covers the basics of writing the perfect press releases, the do’s and don’ts when sending your press releases out to journalists, and some tips and tricks of the trade. Journalists are always on the lookout for good stories so your business should be making sure that media coverage and sending out regular press releases are a priority.

By putting your story out there, you can also help to control what people are saying about your business. Then, once your press release is used by the media, you can build on its use by pushing it onto your social media accounts and onto your website, thus engaging all your customers again.
